REGIONAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE/MANAGER Florida/Caribbean
NanoH2O is a global provider of reverse osmosis (RO) membranes that change the fundamental economics of desalination. Based on breakthrough nanostructured materials and industry-proven polymer technology, thin-film nanocomposite (TFN) membranes improve desalination energy efficiency and productivity. Exhibiting the highest permeability (flux) on the market, NanoH2O's SWRO membranes maintain industry-standard salt rejection while purifying the broad range of water sources. Designed to retrofit existing desalination plants worldwide, NanoH2O's membranes are at the forefront of combating critical water scarcity issues. This key sales person will be responsible for successfully launching NanoH2O's SWRO membranes in the Caribbean and achieving the company's sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Execute NanoH2O’s “go-to-market” strategy in the Caribbean region including Florida and Mexico
- Achieve NanoH2O’s sales targets and manage regional sales budget
- Communicate sales and technical concepts clearly to regional EPCs and owner /operators of SWRO plants
- Identify and manage sales opportunities through NanoH2O’s commercial process
- Identify and structure relationships with strategic regional partners that can help company achieve sales targets
- Lead all local marketing campaigns and effectively position brand with different customer groups
- Work independently and productively in remote locations with minimal supervision
- Possess proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience using customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and familiarity with RO projection software
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in engineering, science, business, or marketing
- Self-starter with 7+ years in sales or application engineering in the SWRO market with experience interfacing with customers
- Ability to cold call regularly on potential customers
- Thorough direct understanding of engineering issues surrounding SWRO plants including intakes, pretreatment options, pump selection, piping design, pressure vessels, energy recovery and concentrate disposal
- Demonstrated ability to work with application/process engineering staff and understand risk management
- Comfort with working in an entrepreneurial environment with short cycle times for delivering results
- An understanding of membrane processes and system design along with a demonstrated attention to detail and innovation
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal communications skills

Designed to retrofit existing desalination plants worldwide, QuantumFlux™ membranes are at the forefront of combating critical water scarcity issues. The marketing manager will be responsible for managing the company’s brand, developing new markets and expanding the customer base for NanoH2O’s SWRO membranes, as well as new products.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all brand marketing, advertising, and promotional activitieS
- Establish marketing strategies to achieve company sales objectives
- Identify and develop new markets by both geography and application
- Manage introduction of new products onto the market, including branding efforts, competitive intelligence, and customer research
- Manage and utilize the company’s website as a promotional tool
- Conduct direct marketing efforts to bring in new customers
- Develop annual marketing plan and budget
- Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related area
